Studies have also showed that the lack of omega 3 in the body, especially for pregnant women, has led to premature birth and low birth weight, as well as hyperactivity in children. Thus, a proper diet in women is also crucial.
Though it would be best to eat fresh fish but with problems with contaminants like mercury, it is not recommended that people eat fish everyday. This is the reason why a number of people use fish oil products instead of fresh products for their omega 3 needs instead. It doesn't matter where you really get omega 3 oils product, as long as you are sure that the product is safe and is really beneficial.
